Jersey City Snow Elopement at City Clerks NYC

I met Gina 6 or 7 years ago when she was on vacation in Australia. We kept in touch and would always hang whenever we were in the same city. It was such a special day not only being there to witness these two amazing people tie the knot but also being able to give my friend such a precious wedding gift - these photos and memories that I know she’ll treasure forever. We had an amazing little Jersey City crew in the morning helping Gina get ready. In between bites of Wonderbagel and some strong coffee, Gina got ready with makeup by the amazing Samantha Flores who I’ve worked with before and highly recommend. She’s the biz!! We then headed to the rooftop where Emre was waiting to see his bride for the first time. The view of the Manhattan skyline and Jersey City is just so incredible from the roof. Emre really didn’t like having his photo taken which is totally normal - I get lots of grooms like this so I shot a few photos super fast and tried to just focus on the candids. Plus we didn’t have much time....Next stop City Clerks Office! After the City Clerks Office I officially became a guest and our amazing star shooter Monnelle picked up the camera for me! <3
