Astoria Rooftop & NYC City Clerks Elopement

Another City Clerks Office elopement to kick off the summer and I couldn’t have loved it more. Katie and Chris wanted to avoid anything cliche and opted for a more relaxed version of an elopement. Originally they had planned on doing the big wedding and spent months looking at venues but like many modern couples they felt overwhelmed by all the big budgets and decided to elope, putting the money towards their dream home instead! On a bright sunny day in May we met on their rooftop in Astoria at around lunchtime and had some champagne and took some photos - it was VERY windy but Katie embraced it whole heartedly. There was no anxiety, no stress, no pre-wedding jitters, just pure joy and absolute laughter. The day just kept getting better when their uber ride to the City Clerks Office was upgraded to a stretch limo by Chris’ Dad. Everyone sipped champagne as we made our way to Manhattan for the next part of the day! Thank you Katie and Chris for having me document your WINDY / FUN elopement! More of these please!
